Roma’s Vineyard

Nestled atop Lone Tree Ridge, Roma's Vineyard emerges as a beacon of viticultural excellence, its roots firmly entrenched in the rich tapestry of Anderson Valley's terroir. Planted with foresight in 1992, this elevated sanctuary is a testament to the marriage of nature's bounty and human ingenuity.

Perched at an unparalleled elevation of 1,860 feet, Roma's Vineyard commands a panoramic valley vista below, an amphitheater for the dance of sun and breeze. Here, amidst the whispering embrace of oceanic currents, a cool climate prevails, bestowing upon the land a gift of extended ripening. Indeed, Roma's is the final refuge of the harvest, its grapes patiently awaiting their moment of perfection.

Dean Carrell, a maverick of the vine, tends to this sacred ground with the reverence of a sage. A former bush pilot hailing from the rugged landscapes of Alaska, Carrell's stewardship is a testament to his deep connection with the land. Embracing the principles of organic and dry farming, he nurtures each vine with a tender hand, coaxing forth the truest expression of the terroir.

In Roma's Vineyard, time seems to stand still, each season unfolding with the measured grace of a well-rehearsed symphony. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting its golden glow upon the vines, one cannot help but marvel at the harmony between man and nature embodied in every bottle born of this hallowed ground.
